Meet the Benjamin D Palmer, D.P.M. at Advanced Foot and Ankle Specialists

Benjamin D Palmer, D.P.M. (Board-Qualified Podiatrist Illinois)

A native of the Chicagoland area, Dr. Palmer completed his undergraduate studies at Judson University in Elgin and earned his doctorate degree from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He went on to complete his postgraduate residency training at Amita St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago.

While in residency, Dr. Palmer was exposed to all medical and surgical aspects of foot and ankle care with extensive specialized training in wound care, trauma, complex reconstructions, limb salvage, Illizarov external fixation, peripheral nerve surgery, and advanced plastic surgery techniques. He is Board-Qualified in Foot Surgery as well as Reconstructive Rearfoot & Ankle Surgery.

Away from the office, Dr. Palmer enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He also enjoys golfing, cooking, traveling and is a passionate Chicago sports fan.
